Author Guideline and Template
GUIDELINES FOR ARTICLE CONTRIBUTORS
- Submission Criteria: JETS welcomes articles related to English language teaching and learning strategies that have not been previously published or are not under consideration by other journals.
- Formatting Requirements: Manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word format, using 12-point Times New Roman font. The margins should be set at 2 cm on all sides, and the text should be single-spaced on A4 paper. The length of the manuscript should be between 4000 and 6000 words (excluding references).
- Review and Editing: Submitted articles will be reviewed by subject matter experts. The editors retain the right to make formatting adjustments for consistency without altering the content.
- Structure and Subheadings: Articles should be written in essay format with subheadings for each section, except for the introduction. The subheading hierarchy is as follows:
- Level One: ALL CAPS, BOLD, LEFT JUSTIFIED
- Level Two: Capitalized First Letter of Each Word, Bold, Left Justified
- Level Three: Italicized and Bold, Left Justified
- Non-Research Articles: These should include: (a) Title; (b) Full names of contributors (without titles), email addresses, and institutional affiliations; (c) Abstract (maximum 100 words); (d) Keywords; (e) Introduction; (f) Body; (g) Conclusion; and (h) References. - Research Articles: These should contain: (a) Title; (b) Full names of contributors (without titles), email addresses, and institutional affiliations; (c) Abstract (maximum 100 words); (d) Keywords; (e) Introduction, including literature review and research objectives; (f) Methodology; (g) Findings and Discussion; (h) Conclusions and Recommendations; (i) References; and (j) Appendix, if applicable. - References: References should be listed alphabetically and chronologically, adhering to the citation style specified by JETS Journal.
- Submission Process: Manuscripts, along with a brief CV of the contributors and a list of selected items for the subject index (approximately 20 items), should be emailed to: ................
- Access and Charges: All published articles are available for free download through the journal’s website.
- Submission Fees: Contributors are not required to pay any fees for article submission to the journal.
