Abstract

This research describes and analyzes the interpersonal communication patterns of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers at MA Bilingual Sidoarjo in increasing students' trust and openness. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research highlights the importance of interpersonal communication in building relationships based on trust and openness between guidance and counseling teachers and students. Guidance and Guidance Teachers apply a client-based approach that is tailored to students' individual needs, as well as integrating Islamic values ​​in the communication process. Communication techniques such as active listening, providing constructive feedback, and showing empathy are essential in building effective relationships with students. The research results show that effective interpersonal communication has a long-term impact on students' academic, emotional, and social development, supporting their success in life after graduation.
